Rewriting the terms of girlhood in Sierra Leone

Girls in Sierra Leone are challenging one of the most damaging conditions they're born into: the idea that decisions about their bodies belong to someone else. 

Through an adolescent-friendly centre supported by Plan International, they're accessing information, building confidence and making choices on their own terms. 

Together with parents, teachers and community leaders, they're rewriting the story for the next generation. But keeping that progress moving will take all of us.
