Today, millions of girls will miss out on learning for one simple reason: they’re on their period.
Harmful attitudes are leaving girls with no safe or dignified way to manage their periods at school – forcing them to stay home.
A few missed days a month can quickly become weeks of lost learning. When girls are pushed out of education, the consequences can last a lifetime.
