Ousa's story

“I love my teacher and friends as they help me a lot” says, ten-year old Len Sokha.

Len Sokha is a sponsored child and attends school in rural Cambodia, where Plan International built a primary school to support children’s education in her community.

With local partners, Plan International also provides support for families, including Len Sokha’s mother, Sokhum, to grow vegetables to boost child nutrition and as a way to earn income.

Len Sokha can now read, write and count, and has big hopes for her future, “I want to be an NGO employee so I can earn money to support my younger brother with his studies.”
