Our partnership with LetterOne, an international investment business, saw us reach over 80,000 children and families affected by hunger and malnutrition in response to two major urgent humanitarian crises. Between March 2023 and April 2024, LetterOne’s support provided vital lifesaving assistance and services for children and families affected by the hunger crisis in Ethiopia, Mali, Somalia and South Sudan. This funding also supported children and their families in Moldova and Poland who had been displaced by the Ukraine conflict

With LetterOne’s support, we were able to reach over 68,000 children and their families facing hunger and malnutrition in Ethiopia, Mali, Somalia and South Sudan – by providing support so they could buy essential supplies; ensuring women and children could access nutritional food; by providing protection services; and helping communities better prepare for future emergencies.

In Moldova and Poland, we reached almost 12,000 displaced children and their families through vital child protection services, emergency education, and cash and voucher assistance. This work ensured that children were protected, could continue their education, and their families could access essential items to support themselves.
