Fierce Voices isn't just a donation. It's access to education, safety, and rights. You’re standing strong with girls who are demanding their place in the world. You’re helping to keep hard won rights in place. And you’re supporting communities to thrive across the globe.

In every corner of the world, girls’ rights are under attack. Girls are told what they can and cannot do with their bodies. They face barriers that prevent them from attending school and becoming independent. They are told their voices don’t matter.

It doesn't have to be this way. Together we can support girls with life skills and help them learn about their rights. With this knowledge they can challenge child marriage, raise awareness of trafficking and demand their right to education. But your donations are vital.

Fierce Voices is a global community of likeminded people who want to make the world a fair, safe and equal place for girls. When you sign up, your regular donations can support projects that empower girls and tear down barriers so they can reach their potential.

HOW YOUR MONTHLY DONATIONS HELP

Sopheak, 15, from Cambodia, stands with folded arms. She is wearing a white shirt and smiling at the camera.

Sopheak, 14, leads her youth club in rural Cambodia, challenging child marriage and harmful norms. “I am a girl with the courage to speak up.” Plan International supports girls like Sopheak to access training, safety, and the power to lead change.

Aissatu, aged 21, wears a white shirt with a Plan International logo. She is smiling at the camera.

Aissatu, 18, from Guinea-Bissau, experienced female genital mutilation (FGM) at the age of seven. With support from Plan International, she now speaks out against FGM, determined to break the silence and shame that many survivors carry.

Ayesha, aged 14, stands in a classroom and flexes her arm. She is holding an English literacy textbook.

Ayesha, 14, found hope in Plan International’s learning centres. “I want to keep exploring and inspire others,” she says. Your donation helps girls like Ayesha learn safely, overcome barriers, and build the futures they choose.

Ibrahim and Marita, from Liberia, stand side by side in a school. They have their arms around each other and smile at the camera.

When their school building became too dangerous to use, Marita and Ibrahim's community gave up their church to create a classroom. With the support of Plan International, the community is building a new, permanent school.

What your support means to girls

Kimberly, 13, from Guatemala, is determined to keep learning. In her community, many children, especially girls, drop out after primary school. “There is no secondary school here, only a primary school,” she explains.

Through Plan International’s Generation with Opportunities programme, Kimberly has access to flexible education with weekly classes, teaching materials and help from a teacher. “Now I have pencils, a pen and a big book with five or six subjects in it,” she says.

Kimberly has her first full set of school supplies. Now, she studies subjects she loves, especially maths. “I want to improve my life by studying. I want to help my parents,” she says with conviction.

Why fierce voices matter

Girls are powerful. They have ideas and aspirations. They are ready to call out injustice and demand change in their communities.

Donating to Fierce Voices means equipping them with the life skills and confidence they need to be independent. You’ll be backing the ideas of inspirational girls and providing platforms for them to get their voices heard.

Please donate today, and together we can ensure the world is a fair, safe and equal place for girls.

Eunice, 18, is a passionate footballer and girls' rights activist.

“I can now defend my rights and those of others"

Eunice grew up in rural Mozambique, where many girls were expected to marry young and leave school. At 13, she joined Plan International’s Champions of Change group, a space that helped her understand her rights and recognise her own power.

With this confidence, Eunice created her own activist group, helping prevent 15 child marriages and supporting around 100 pregnant girls to stay in school.

Your donation strengthens community-led action, giving girls like Eunice the tools, training and safe spaces they need to protect their rights and transform their futures.

Your donations will make a difference

At Plan International UK we’ve been responding to children and young people’s needs for more than 80 years and today we work in over 75 countries- including the UK.

Together with support from people like you we’re working to create a world that treats girls as equals and protects children’s rights. Our key priorities are to ensure that every child, especially every girl, has access to education and can live free from violence.

Every year we spend at least 80% of our money on charitable activities including our emergency response work and long-term development projects.
