What happens after child sponsorship
What happens after child sponsorship?
Join us as we meet four inspiring graduates from our child sponsorship programme
Around the world, over 85,000 children are part of our child sponsorship programme, from Peru and Guatemala to Niger, Malawi, China and Indonesia.
With the support of their sponsors, girls and boys in the programme are able to access the essentials every child needs to grow up safe, healthy and happy – such as clean water, education and healthcare.
Many of our sponsors support their sponsored child until they turn 18. Through the letters, photos and updates they receive, they get the chance to see their sponsored child reach adulthood, and some even make the visit to meet their sponsored child and their community.
But what happens after a child leaves the sponsorship programme?
We spoke to Evelyn, Elizabeth, Tort and Ronald, to discover how sponsorship changed what happened next in their lives…
