Pay
A competitive salary within the not-for-profit sector, based on the market rate.
Annual Leave
Full time employees have an entitlement of 25 days annual leave per calendar year (including three days to take between Christmas and New Year), plus Bank Holidays, rising each year up to 30 days after completing five years of service. These amounts are pro-rated for part time employees.
Pension
We match pension contributions up to 7.5 per cent and will automatically enrol anyone who has not elected to join the scheme in the third pay period of their employment, currently at a rate of 4 per cent contributions for you and for Plan International UK.
Life Insurance
Life insurance of three times the salary is provided to current employees.
Employee Assistance Programme
Our EAP offers online wellbeing resources as well as confidential advice on emotional or practical issues 24 hours a day via phone, email or online chat. It also includes face to face counselling.
Season Ticket Loan
Employees are entitled to apply for an interest free annual season ticket loan as long as they have passed their probationary period and are on contracts of employment more than the period of the loan (i.e. for more than 12 months from the date the loan starts).
Ride2Work Cycle Scheme
Bicycles and cycling accessories are available on a salary sacrifice scheme, where employees make 12 or 24 monthly hire payments to the value of the purchase.
Learning and Development
We offer a tailored approach to learning and development, with options based on your learning needs. Study loans and grants are available, (depending on length of service) plus paid time off to prepare for exams.
Paid time away from work
We understand you may need to take time away from work in certain situations, and offer paid time away from work for domestic and dependents’ emergencies

We have enhanced benefits for parents and parents-to/be (depending on length of service) and offer paid time off to undergo fertility treatment
