Thanks to players of People's Postcode Lottery, we're building a brighter, safer future for thousands of children, particularly girls, in Sub-Saharan Africa. Your support also means we can reach girls facing early child marriage and female genital mutilation (FGM) in Tanzania, so they can make choices about their future – aided by life-skills, vocational and sports training.

Supporting child refugees in Nigeria

Thanks to support from players of People’s Postcode Lottery, we’ve been able to help children in Nigeria who have fled their homes because of the conflict in the Lake Chad Basin.

We've built schools and toilets, and provided books and stationary so that they can safely continue their education.

We've also built safe spaces where the children can receive psychosocial support to try to heal the impact of this trauma.
